What your shop actually made, and what walked out the door

Updated 22 September 2026

The Reports page adds up the last six months of your appointments: what completed grooms brought in, what no-shows cost you and how much deposits and fees got back, your average ticket, and your busiest weekdays and hours. FurSlot works it out from your own bookings in your shop's time zone, so you have nothing to set up.

The four numbers at the top

  • Revenue completed. The total price of the grooms you marked complete, and how many there were. You enter the final price when you mark a groom complete, so an extra charge for a matted coat counts.
  • Recovered from no-shows. The money you charged on missed appointments where you applied the no-show fee, deposit included.
  • Lost to no-shows. The booked price of each appointment you marked as a no-show, which is groom money you did not take in.
  • Average ticket. Revenue completed divided by the number of completed grooms.

Read the middle two side by side. If the lost figure is much bigger than the recovered one, your deposit or no-show fee is not covering the gap, and the no-show calculator shows what a deposit would change.

Where the money came from

A bar chart shows completed revenue for each of the last six calendar months, so a slow January or a strong spring is plain to see. Next to it, FurSlot ranks up to five of your services by the money they brought in, so you can tell which is paying the bills, full grooms or bath and brush.

On this page, revenue means grooms you marked complete, so a booking still on the calendar does not count until it happens.

Busy days and busy hours

Two more charts count completed grooms by weekday and by start hour. If Saturdays are full and Tuesdays are thin, you will see it, and you can decide whether to close the slow day or save it for the dogs that take longest.

Below them sit the key figures for the same six months:

  • Total appointments, how many you completed, and how many are still upcoming.
  • Your no-show rate: no-shows as a share of appointments that were either completed or missed, so a canceled appointment does not count against it.
  • Repeat clients: the share of clients with more than one completed groom, shown with the counts behind the percentage so a small number does not look bigger than it is.

A status block counts completed, confirmed, no-show and canceled bookings side by side.

Booked online against booked by you

One figure splits your appointments by where they came from: how many came in through your booking page, and how many you added yourself from the calendar as walk-ins, phone bookings or imports.

The split matters for your deposits. With your Stripe account connected, an online booking comes with a deposit paid and a card on file, and one you type in from a phone call comes with neither. If most of your book still comes from you, watch this number as you share your booking link. The page on deposits and no-show fees covers the rest.

The quick numbers on your dashboard

You do not have to open Reports to know how the week is going. The dashboard shows today's appointments against the same weekday last week, revenue this month against the same point last month, progress toward a monthly goal if you set one, the deposits you are holding, your no-show rate over all time, and a chart of the last seven days.

Getting the raw rows out

There is no download button on the Reports page itself. You get the raw rows from Settings, under Download my data, as a CSV of your full appointment history, not only the last six months: date, time, dog, owner, service, minutes, price, status, deposit, deposit amount, the no-show fee decision and who booked it.

Open it in a spreadsheet to slice it in ways the Reports page does not, such as a single month or a single client.

Questions Reports can't answer

  • No custom date ranges; Reports cover the last six months only.
  • No list of lapsed clients on this page. FurSlot marks anyone past 60 days with nothing booked as Overdue on the client list instead.
  • No tips, retail sales, payroll or commission, because FurSlot does not track any of them.
  • No accounting, tax reports or profit after costs. The revenue figure is what you charged for grooms, before your costs.
  • No combined view across groomers. On the Team plan each groomer profile has its own reports.
  • No export from the Reports page, and no emailed summary of your numbers.

Reading your no-show and revenue numbers

Can I see how much no-shows cost me?

Yes. The Reports page shows the total booked price of your no-shows over the last six months as Lost to no-shows, and right beside it the amount deposits and no-show fees brought back. The gap between the two is what missed appointments still cost you, and your no-show rate sits in the key figures further down.

Can I export the rows?

Yes, from Settings rather than the Reports page. Download my data gives you all your appointments as a CSV file with date, time, dog, owner, service, minutes, price, status, deposit, the no-show fee decision and who booked it, plus separate client and dog files. It opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

Does it show which service makes the most money?

Yes. The top services chart ranks your services by the revenue from completed grooms over the last six months, and at a glance you can see which is carrying the shop, full grooms or baths. Read it next to the average ticket at the top of the page.

Does it tell me which clients have stopped coming?

Not on the Reports page. On the client list, anyone whose last groom was more than 60 days ago, with nothing booked, carries an Overdue tag, and a Needs booking filter shows the clients with no upcoming appointment. From there you can open the dog and send a rebooking text if they have agreed to texts.

Can I pick my own date range?

No. Reports cover the last six months only, counted in your shop's time zone. For a single month, a full year or anything else, download the appointments file from Settings and filter it in a spreadsheet. The dashboard also shows this month's revenue against the same point last month.
