Booking & Cancellation Policy
Last updated July 21, 2026
Deposits
A deposit is required to confirm every booking. The amount is displayed clearly at the time of booking and is applied toward the final groom price, so it is not an additional charge. A valid card must be on file for a booking to be confirmed.
Cancellations
Clients may cancel without charge up to the cutoff window set by the shop. After that window, a late-cancellation fee may apply. The exact window and fee are configured by the groomer and disclosed at the time of booking.
No-shows
If a client does not arrive for a scheduled appointment and has not cancelled in advance, a no-show fee may be charged to the card on file. The fee amount is set by the groomer and disclosed at the time of booking.
How fees are charged
By default, no-show and late-cancellation fees are charged only when the groomer chooses to apply them. Groomers may enable automatic charging in their settings. FurSlot does not decide whether a fee is charged; the groomer does.
Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule through their self-service link. A reschedule made before the free-cancellation window carries no fee. The new time is subject to availability.
Deposits and the final price
The deposit always applies toward the final groom price. If the final price is lower than the deposit, the difference is refunded. If the final price is higher, the remaining balance is charged to the card on file.
Arrival
Clients should arrive at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment or the need to reschedule, at the groomer's discretion, so that the rest of the day's schedule stays on track.
Coat condition
If a pet's coat is matted or in poor condition beyond what was booked, the groom time and price may be adjusted upward to reflect the additional work. The groomer will discuss the options before proceeding, including a possible reset clip performed for the pet's comfort and safety.
