FurSlot appointment reminder texts
What the messages are, who they come from, and how to stop them.
Who sends the messages
FurSlot sends them. FurSlot is appointment booking software used by independent dog groomers, operated as a sole proprietorship based in Riverton, Utah. Every message identifies FurSlot and names the grooming business the appointment is with.
How you opt in
This is exactly what appears on the booking form, in the order you see it. The first box is the booking policy. The second is the text message consent: it is separate, it starts unticked, and the appointment books either way.

The live form, reproduced here in full. Booking completes whether or not the second box is ticked; only ticking it starts the reminder texts. The fee and the notice window come from each groomer’s own settings.
Nothing is pre-ticked, and consent is never a condition of booking. Leaving the box blank books the appointment exactly the same way and sends you nothing. We record the moment you agreed and the exact wording you agreed to.
What you receive
One reminder per appointment, sent before it. It carries your pet's name, the grooming business, the date and time, and a link to reschedule or cancel. Here is a real example:

Your groomer can also turn on two more appointment messages: a pickup notice the moment your dog's groom is finished, and one day-after message (a thank-you, which may include a review link and a rebooking link). Both are off unless your groomer enables them, and both stop instantly when you reply STOP.
Every message is about an appointment you booked. FurSlot does not send bulk or promotional campaigns, and the messaging feature may not be used to send them.
How to stop them
Reply STOP to any message. That ends the reminders immediately and we record the opt-out against your number. Reply START to turn them back on, or HELP for help. You can also ask your groomer to switch reminders off for you.
Cost and privacy
FurSlot does not charge you for reminders. Message and data rates from your own carrier may apply. We never sell your number, and we never share your mobile number or your consent with anyone for their own marketing. Read the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
