Accessibility at FurSlot
Booking software should work for every pet owner and every groomer, including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or reduced motion.
Our standard
FurSlot aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across furslot.com and every public booking page we host for groomers. That work is continuous rather than finished. It currently includes visible focus styles throughout, a skip-to-content link on every page, honoring your reduced-motion preference, labels on every form field, live announcements of booking errors for screen readers, text alternatives for charts, color contrast checked against the AA thresholds, and layouts that let text be zoomed to 200 percent without loss.
Known limitations
We are a small team and the product changes weekly, so regressions are possible. Screen-reader testing is ongoing rather than complete, and data tables that present as cards on phones are still being refined for assistive technology.
Tell us what is broken
If any part of FurSlot is hard to use with assistive technology, email hello@furslot.com with the page address and what went wrong. A person reads that inbox, accessibility reports go to the front of the queue, and we aim to respond within two business days.
